About Anna

I am a New Zealand Chartered Accountant with over 16 years of accounting experience in New Zealand and a further 8+ years internationally.

Throughout my career, I have worked across manufacturing, healthcare, construction, social housing, professional services, and complex multi-entity groups — ranging from growing SMEs to organisations managing $1.5bn in assets .

My strength lies in stepping into environments where finance needs stabilising, strengthening, or restructuring.

I have:

  • Led and developed finance teams of up to 14 staff

  • Managed full finance functions reporting directly to Directors and CEOs

  • Prepared consolidated reporting for up to 29 entities

  • Implemented new systems including ApprovalMax, Joiin, payroll transitions and job costing platforms

  • Identified significant financial improvements, including six-figure performance and tax gains

I am known for quickly understanding business operations, identifying structural weaknesses, and putting practical control frameworks in place.

Professional Leadership & Industry Involvement

I am the founder of the national community “Accountants and Bookkeepers in New Zealand”, with over 2,200 active members.

The group brings together finance professionals across New Zealand to discuss taxation updates, software developments, compliance changes, and practical accounting challenges faced by growing businesses.

Leading this community keeps me closely connected to emerging risks, regulatory developments, and operational finance issues across a wide range of industries.

This insight strengthens the practical, real-world perspective I bring into client engagements.
